Tileable recessed access cover with a screw-in lifting key for utility openings
The Recessed Utility Access Cover closes inspection chambers, grease traps, stormwater boxes, water boxes and electrical pull boxes in residential or commercial areas. It is intended for openings that need regular access without leaving a raised handle on the floor.
The structure uses 2 mm aluminum with a 13 mm recessed tray. The tray can receive compatible porcelain, stone or other floor finish up to the specified thickness, allowing the cover to follow the surrounding surface.
A threaded stainless-steel lifting key screws into the cover when access is needed and can be removed after closing. This keeps the top surface clear when the cover is in place.
The perimeter gasket is intended to reduce the entry of surface water and odours when the cover is installed and closed as specified. It is not a substitute for the drainage, sealing or waterproofing details of the opening.
Confirm the opening size, finish thickness, support, lifting clearance and drainage conditions before production. The cover can be made to the dimensions required by the project.
