Concealed in-deck hatch for pool-cover rollers with dual gas-strut assistance
The In-Deck Pool Cover Roller Access Hatch hides the roller below the deck or beside the pool edge while keeping the mechanism available for inspection and maintenance. It is suited to new installations and renovations with space for the roller compartment.
The hatch uses 2 mm aluminum with a powder-coated finish and a 13 mm recessed tray. The tray receives compatible porcelain, stone or deck finish up to the thickness defined for the project.
The closed hatch follows the deck layout and leaves the opening needed for the pool cover to deploy. The roller position, slot, support and clearances must be coordinated with the cover system.
Dual gas-strut assistance and safety hardware can be specified for the size and finish weight. A 9 cm perimeter gutter with a 50 mm (2 in) outlet can route rainwater to the planned connection.
Send the roller model, pool edge drawing, compartment size, deck finish, opening direction and drainage plan. These details are required to confirm the hatch before fabrication.
